Philodendron
Monstera deliciosa - The Philodendron is a climbing vine known by several common names. The Swiss cheese plant, Mexican breadfruit, and Split-leaf philodendron are the more typical names for this easy-to-care for houseplant. Native to the jungles of Central America, the Swiss cheese plant displays a magnificent presence as the leaves can grow up to two feet in length.
The unique leaves of this plant are what draw plant enthusiasts to the Monstera. As the plant matures, the leaves will become deeply notched from the edges towards the center. Older plants will have very deep notches and large-sized leaves. Immature plants display plain green leaves and resemble the heartleaf philodendron.
